Our Organization
Founded in 2012, Bruin Value Investing is the first and oldest undergraduate student-run investment fund at UCLA, operating a real-money equities fund driven by a commitment to value investing principles. Our members rotate across five main industry sectors, identifying and analyzing undervalued investment opportunities across Technology, Media & Telecom (TMT), Healthcare, Industrials, Consumer & Retail, and Financials.

Our Approach
Bruin Value Investing conducts weekly meetings where members present investment theses for our real-money fund and analyze current events and market trends, facilitating intellectual curiosity and collaborative development.
New members undergo a rigorous training curriculum designed to impart the fundamental principles of value investing and core competencies in accounting, valuation, and financial modeling, preparing them not only to be active members of BVI but also to succeed in careers in finance.
